After you have submitted the necessary paper work to the Admissions & Records office, you will begin the registration process.
1. You will receive an e-mail from Nate Smith, Distance Education Advisor, which is your acceptance letter. You need to hold on to this e-mail because it will tell you who your important contacts are, what your registration access code is, how to order books, and how to pay for your classes.
2. Check the prerequisites of the classes you are trying to register
for because if you are unsure of your readiness for these classes, you
should plan to complete an assessment test. Learn
more about the placement test.
Also, if you have not taken online courses here at RCTC before, you
are required to complete an introductory course to online learning,
COMP 1001. You may take this course concurrently with your other online
courses.
3. After you have received your acceptance letter you will have access to our web-registration system. Follow the link to the Web Portal.
