Rochester Community and Technical College Foundation believes strongly in providing educational opportunities for students. As part of this commitment, the Foundation provides a number of scholarships each year. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, character, school/community involvement, and in some cases, need and/or specific scholarship guidelines.

Scholarship Process:

• Students must apply for admission to Rochester Community & Technical College
• Incoming students must include an official high school transcript with the application along with a signature from a school guidance counselor
• Non-traditional students should provide high school transcript if possible. Lack of any grade history will hinder review of application
• RCTC Foundation Scholarship Committee will review and award scholarships
• Students who RECEIVE awards will be notified
• Scholarship awards must be used for tuition and books, unless otherwise noted
• Scholarship awards will be transferred to the RCTC Business Office after the 13 th class day of the semester
• For most scholarships, it is assumed the student will be full-time, which means carrying a minimum of 12 credits (Some exceptions do apply)
• Applicants must sign the release on the back of this application
• Application must be complete or it WILL NOT be reviewed
