Special rules apply when students drop below 6 credits or totally
withdraw - especially if you have borrowed student loans. Use the chart below
to help determine what steps you should take.
We also ask that you stop by the Financial Aid Office if you plan to graduate at the end of the current term. You may need to complete some final paperwork at the Financial Aid Office before you leave campus.

Your drop and/or withdrawal will affect your completion rate.
You must complete at least 67% of the courses you register for to
remain eligible for Financial Aid. See the Financial Aid Satisfactory
Academic Progress Policy and/or meet with your counselor
or advisor for more information. |
Contact the Financial Aid Office. You may owe a refund to the
Financial Aid programs you were funded with. |
Check with the Financial Aid Office to make sure you do not have
any holds that would prevent you from getting your diploma or
certificate. |
Student Loan Borrowers |
You must complete a Loan Exit Session, even though you are still
enrolled. Lenders consider you as "exited" when you
drop below 6 credits. Follow the link below to complete this requirement
for your loan type. |
