Summary:

This review session provides each student the opportunity to experience a sample quiz in hard copy format, and to prepare for Exam #1 by taking multiple choice and true-false quizzes stored on BlackBoard for each module of study.

Homework:

Review the following materials in preparation for Exam #1:

1.  BlackBoard allows you to prepare for Exam #1 by taking the quizzes as often as you like.  BlackBoard remembers only your last score. (A small number of bonus points can be earned by answering the questions correctly.)

2. Exam #1 is a closed book test.  However, your instructor says that you can bring to Exam #1 a single sheet of typing paper with any handwritten notes on both sides.  You must agree not to reproduce, not to save, and not to distribute your handwritten notes to any other student.  You must further agree to turn the sheet of notes in to your instructor when you take Exam #1.  This sheet of notes becomes the property of the instructor along with Exam #1.  The intention of the notes is to cause you to prioritize and reduce the material you must memorize into a memo to yourself that enables you to perform well on Exam #1.

3.  Exam #1 is similar in format to the quizzes you have taken, but the content is not necessarily limited to those questions mentioned in the quizzes.

4.  Exam #1 turns itself on automatically at the beginning of Module 5 Part 2, and turns itself off automatically at the end of the time allotment for Module 5 Part 2.
