Read Chapter 2 - Self-Motivation and Goal Setting and take the exam over Chapter 2.

Use the following links to consider products, revenue streams, countries, and companies associated with the newest technological paradigm shifts.

 2. Country Team Briefings

Your instructor assigns you to small groups known as country teams.  Each country team investigates business and culture on a different continent.  Visit your team's continental site below.  The purpose of the site is to help you:
- choose a leader,
- devise briefing topics,
- work together on creating research regarding (1) business and (2) culture in your assigned countries,
- practice...practice...practice your briefing, and
- ultimately deliver a well-coordinated team briefing to the class (3) using electronic media (if available) and
(4) supplemented by real world artifacts (such as maps, travel brochures, food and drink, clothing, music, a discussion of language, religion, form of government, topography, weather, currency, passports, vaccinations, and/or handouts of your own making that prepare the audience to do business, and become acquainted with learned behaviors (culture) unique to every nation.

Your instructor is especially fond of any team that includes some aspect of "food and drink," table manners, and etiquette which is regarded as socially acceptable (or unacceptable) within a specific culture, so that business people of all cultures can socialize amicably.  Your instructor is also a keen investor, and wishes to know what profitable business opportunities lie upon the horizon within your team's continental sphere, and what employment possibilities these new businesses will bring to local and foreign providers of land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship.

The following links give your country briefing team some limited organizational methods for putting your individually prepared briefings together into a unified team presentation.  Most teams use PowerPoint.  Every student has an "equal show and tell" time, (approximately ten minutes), in which to speak and make a presentation to the class.
