Results from Exam #2

During Part Two
of Psychology of Business and Industry:
(1)  You received a group grade of up to 80 points for your Country-Cultural Presentations to the class. Please complete a civic contribution for the remaining 20 points.  Here are some suggestions:
a.  Contribute at the next local blood drive;
b.  Join your party in getting out the vote in an election;
c.  Participate in the Martinsville Christmas morning meal delivery program;
d.  Spend a day volunteering at Greyhound Friends of North Carolina. (Find it on Google.)
Attach your intended civic contribution to your Module 12 Quality Chart along with those of your classmates.

(2)  Your Electronic Notebook was also worth up to 200 points.  The  Country-Cultural Presentations were scheduled to be completed during Modules 6, 7, 8, and 9.   Your Electronic Notebook (or a hard-copy equivalent) should have been delivered as email to tmeyer@ph.vccs.edu, or handed to the instructor in hard-copy format on the day set aside for Module 10, Part 2.  Your Electronic Notebook during Part Two included Learning Objectives and your responses to them for Chapters 6, 8, 10, and 11.
(3)  Exam #2 was also worth up to 100 points.

During Part One
of Psychology of Business and Industry:
(1)  Exam #1 was worth 100 points.
(2)  Your Electronic Notebook was worth up to 200 points

The evaluation section within the course syllabus said that the cumulative percentage of possible points which you received results in your specific letter grade.  So thus far in Psychology for Business and Industry, there have been 700 possible points.

The number of points that you have achieved, divided by 700 points, if multiplied by 100 produces your current cumulative percentage.

Recall the following from your syllabus:

If your cumulative percentage
of points
achieved is ...
you receive the letter grade ...
90% and above A
80% and above B
70% and above C
60% and above D
less than 60% F

During Part Three of Psychology of Business and Industry:
(1)  You will take Exam #3 over Part Three of the course (covering Chapters 13 and 15) worth 100 points.  Exam #3 is scheduled for Module 15, Part 2.
(2)  You will also turn-in an Electronic Notebook responding to the Learning Objectives for Chapters 13 and 15 for another 200 possible points.  Your Electronic Notebook should be delivered in Microsoft Word as email to tmeyer@ph.vccs.edu, or handed to the instructor in hard copy format on the day set aside for Module 15, Part 2.

At the course conclusion, you will have attempted 1000 possible points.  The number of points that you have achieved, divided by 1000 points, if multiplied by 100 will produce your current cumulative percentage.  Your letter grade will be taken from the previous table and will be computed in this manner.
