1.  How to Review for Exams
 

1st Step - Use the links in each module of your 15-Module Calendar.
- Be certain you read the correctly assigned chapter titles during the calendar days set forth in your 15-Module Calendar. 
- Consult the other links found in each module.  Other links include:

• the Objectives link,
• Lesson plan links called Part One and Part Two,
• PowerPoint Slides link,
• and, if necessary, read Alternate Lesson Plan link and Alternate Slide links.

2nd Step - Carefully read the corresponding Chapter in Perspective pages in your Study Guide.

3rd Step - Recognize that you are about to be tested regarding your mastery of the  Expanded Chapter Checklists found in your Study Guide.

4th Step - Master the Key Terms found in your Study Guide (They are arranged in order and by corresponding textbook page number).

5th Step - Accomplish the practice problem AND the additional practice problem for each numbered checkpoint.  (Solutions immediately follow each practice problem and additional practice problem in the Study Guide.)

6th Step - Complete the Self-Test for each checkpoint.  The Self-Test consists of:
- Fill in the blanks;
- True-false;
- Multiple choice;
- Graph-the-graph;
- Numeric and short answer problems.
Answers to every Self-Test are found at the end of each chapter in the Study Guide.

7th Step - Using front and back sides of a single sheet of typing paper:
- create any handwritten or hand-drawn materials or graphs you wish to bring with you for use while you take the exam. 
- Put your name on it.
- Turn it in to the exam proctor when you take the exam.
- You must agree not to copy, retain, or distribute copies of this device for use by others.
- The exam and your single sheet of handwritten notes become property of the instructor.

8th Step - use BlackBoard Discussion Group and BlackBoard email to converse with other students in this course about specific problems with which you struggle or need help.
