Information about your Syllabus

The
Syllabus  contains a student affidavit (form saying "I am ready to begin) and four menus in green red, blue, and gray.  Each menu has from six to eight links on it.

Use the following guidance to help you begin using the menus:

If you are a new student or a new distant learner you will want to begin by examining the information in the links on the green Getting Started menu.

bullet

If you want the most important information for completing the course, examine the red links on Need to Know menu.

bullet

Within the Need to Know menu, you MUST be able to operate:
- the 15-Module Calendar,
- the Syllabus, and the
- How To Prepare links.

Information of lesser priority is contained in the blue Nice to Know menu and in the gray For your information menu.

the education,  teaching experiences and interests of your instructor and his military experiences.

 Dear Students in Introduction to Economics,

Complete three
Instructions before you begin
the first Module of Instruction
(or attend your first in-class meeting).

 1.  
(A)
  Purchase your textbook and study guide.
Examine the Syllabus before the first module of instruction by clicking
Syllabus.

(B)  Give your first attention to the Getting Started
and Need to Know links.

(C)  Examine the remaining Nice to Know and
For Your Information
links in the syllabus before beginning
Module 2 (or before attending the second in-class meeting).

(D)  Send your instructor the Affadavit ("I am ready to begin"
statement).

Get familiar with using these links :

- the Syllabus, and
- How to Prepare
Then click the link called Meet the Instructor.
 
Learn to contact your classmates frequently
using Desire 2 Learn's email system and Discussion Board.

Note 1:  
To prevent the spread of computer viruses,
instructors do not respond to personal email addresses sent
from your home or place of work.

- the title of the chapter you will study 
- the date when your should complete your work.

Note 2: 
Failure to mention the course you're taking
during voicemails or emails
risks getting the wrong answer to your question,
because Principles of Economics: Macro, Principles of Economics: Micro, and Introduction to Economics courses.
