There are many companies today that could benefit from using Web-based application service providers (ASPs). Both large and small companies could improve their productivity by allowing an ASP to provide services such as payroll or voice communications. Small companies that do not have the resources for constant upgrading or the staff for data entry benefit from using an ASP. One reason that ASPs appeal to some businesses is that all the data is stored off-site. No data is subjected to dangers such as local power outages or system crashes. Of course, every business has its own priorities. For some, however, using an ASP may be one of those expenses that saves money in the end!
