The above pictures show my wonderful family. My wife Ruth and I were
married June 29, 1968. We live in Rochester,
Minnesota in a home we built 30 years ago near
Ella Grace is the newest member of the family, born January 3, 2008 at 7
lb 2 oz to Becky and Rick. Sarah and
Mike are the parents of Samuel Owen born April 11, 2006.
Sarah graduated from the University of
Wisconsin Law School in May 2001. She currently works for USBank in Minneapolis . She was married on March 14, 2002 to Mike Pliner. Mike is a loan officer for Wells
Becky lives in the Twin Cities area and is employed by the Medtronic in Minneapolis. She
works as a Communications Specialist. She was married on January 31, 1997 to
Rick Kieffer of
Ruth is retired. She is an active member of American
Assciation of University Women. She is an avid tennis player with a wicked passing shot and a
tough lob. She is also involved in numerous volunteer activities and reading groups.
I am Professor Emeritus of Computer
Science for Winona State University. My
base is the Rochester Center. where I continue to
teach as an adjunct instrucor. Prior to
entering academia, I worked at IBM for 25
years. IBM Rochester is the home of the AS/400 or i-Series. My outside interests include golf, biking, and reading.
