One of the three greatest living philosophers in the world--the other two being Dr. Michael Wreen and Dr. Dan Meissner --Professor Fan A. Shen is, among other things, the founding father of apparition philosophy and phantom mechanics. Professor Wreen (also known as T's Desciple) is the leading expert on the string theory of creatures. Dr. Meissner is a practicing Zen master and scholar of the so-called "boxers' philosophy." A brief biography of Dr. Fan A. Shen: As with all great mystics, Dr. Shen has no recollection of being conceived and being born. In fact, he has little recollection of his early childhood. His parents being poor and struggling to survive themselves and having no time for him, he taught himself to read and write, and at the age of thirteen, he received in a plastic bottle the divine instruction to go roam the world, which he did. In the next twenty years, he studied under various masters and jacks of all trades. But the more he studied, the more confused he became as to the nature of the creatures, until he met the great guru Professor Wreen, who guided him through the dangerous maze of creatures to arrive at the enlightened land. There, his enlightenment was completed by the studying of Dr. Meissner's boxers' theory, which demonstrated the principles behind all human follies. Dr. Shen's lates book, "Gang of One: Memoirs of a Red Guard," an autobiography, explains, once and for all, all the intricacies of the greatest mysteries of human life: love, misery, ambition, and the will to survive. All students of love and misery and ambition and beauty are strongly advised to study the book. "Gang of One" has been selected as the common book for RCTC for 2004-2006.
