The science area of the UCR Learning Center is housed in AT301 and provides a wonderful environment to receive help in biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, or microbiology. In addition to tutoring, students also have access to science models, specimens, and equipment to augment their laboratory studies. Equipment and specimens are open to all students as long as a staff member is present.

The science area is staffed by specialists, science faculty and tutors provided by the Academic Support Center. The broad nature of the science area brings a very diverse staff that students may rely on for drop-in tutoring, small group work, or a quiet study place. The science area is always open as a place for quiet study, but please check the schedule to ensure a tutor is available.
