How to setup RCTC
Student E-mail account in Outlook Express
Make sure to connect to the Internet first.
Open up Outlook Express

Click on the Setup up a Mail account. link

The Internet connection Wizard screen comes up. Enter your
name in the Display name: field
Click on the Next Button

Enter your E-mail address: (Example: jdoe073@acad.roch.edu)
and click on the Next button.

Select IMAP for My incoming mail server.
Enter acad.roch.edu for Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or
HTTP) server.
Enter acad.roch.edu for Outgoing mail (SMTP) server.
Click on the Next button.

Enter your username in the Account name field
(Example: jdoe073)
Enter your email password in the Password
field
Un-check the Remember password field. Click on the Next
button.

Click on the Finish button for the final step of
setup your e-mail account setting.

Click Yes when ask "Would you like to download
folders from the mail server you added?
This will down load all the folders from the mail server to
your e-mail account.
