Adobe Design Premium is recommended.

Adobe Student Licensing

Starting Fall 2007 Digital Arts distance ed students will be required to purchase their own Adobe Student Licensed software for their online classes (Adobe Design Premium is recommended). This student license option will also be available to any currently enrolled RCTC students. The Adobe Student Licensed versions of the software will be available from Journey Ed.

Instructions for Purchasing Adobe Software:

The RCTC store at JourneyEd is active and running. You can purchase your software so you can be ready for the projects this semester. To get the exclusive deal on Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium for $300 you must follow these instructions. Here's how:

1. In your favorite web browser, go to http://www.journeyed.com/select/
2. At the bottom of the page is an drop down menu for selecting the school type. Select College.
3. The drop down menu changes to select the State. Select Minnesota.
4. A list of links to colleges appears. Click on Rochester Community and Technical College.
5. The store menu appears. You need Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium for $299.98.
6. There are two options available, Mac or Windows. Choose the Correct Platform.
7. Click the Checkout Button on the right side of the page.
8. You may need to verify your status as a student. Assuming you have not purchased from JourneyEd in the last year, choose "I have never ordered a product from JourneyEd that required Academic Proof or the last time I ordered was 12 months or more." and click Continue.
9. Select "I am a College Student (or parent of a College student)." and click Continue.
10. You can verify your student enrollment quickly with VeriClick, but it does cost $2.95. If you do not verify your enrollment with VeriClick you must email or fax a copy of your student ID to JourneyEd. Then Continue.
11. You either need to create a Username and Password with JourneyEd or log-in to complete the purchase. Then Continue.
12. Choose a shipping option. Look at the options closely. Shipping will cost at least $17.50. Then Continue.
13. Enter your payment information and Continue.
14. If you are creating an account, you will need to select a Security Question and input a Security Answer. You may fill out the demographic information if you wish. Select Continue.
15. Review your order and select Checkout. This will place your order.
16. You may need to submit some type of verification of enrollment if you have not already done so.
