Profile and network space problems will cause you to see 3 errors, some of which may appear to be profile problems but usually just indicate that you have run out of space on your network volume.
When you run out of network space you are likely to see an error at login that tells you “Your network profile is newer than your locally stored profile do you want to use your locally stored profile? Yes or No" Any time you see this error you should choose NO. This tells your computer to use your network profile which is the last complete, good profile that was uploaded.
You may also see an error that indicates you are out of network space when you log out of the computer that states “The computer was not able to update your roaming profile Reason: insufficient network space" which is usually the reason you get the error "your locally stored profile is newer than your network profile" the next time you log in. It is helpful to make sure that you have not saved any files directly to your desktop or in your My Documents folder (the best place to save files is in your F drive).
You may see another error that states “Cannot copy <some file>: There is not enough free space. Delete one or more files to free disk space, and then try again.” This is another indication that you are out of space on your network drive and you are going to have to delete some files from your F: to free up space. If you are not able to free up enough additional space call the Technology Support Center at 5555 and request to have your network space increased.
