The Digital Media Center
(DMC)
The Digital Media Center is part of a 9.2 million dollar
claim University Center Rochester (UCR) has staked in cyberspace.
UCR partner schools, Rochester Community and Technical College,
Winona State University - Rochester Center, and the University
of Minnesota Rochester, call their claim TELEPro (Technology
Enhanced Learning Environments Project.)
The Purpose of the Digital Media Center is to create a new technology center for UCR students and staff to support production, study, training, distance education, tutoring, and use of emerging technologies. (Students and staff must complete training or demonstrate skills before using many systems in the DMC.)
The DMC is located on the first floor of Goddard Library.
