Capabilities of the DMC:
Students and staff will have access to technologies that will feature the following:
- Digital format video editing
- Image capture in digital formats
- Audio capture/mix in digital and analog formats
- Image creation with higher-level 3D, animation, and emerging technologies
- Support for point to point and/or participation in multipoint meetings and coursework
- Campus tutoring with option to use nearby computers
- DVD & CD recording.
- E-learning, e-portfolio, assessment, and tutoring initiatives.
- Training room for faculty, staff, and students
- Videotaping equipment in rooms
- Plasma screen for collaborative laptop work
- Upgrades smaller ITV room ITV/UNITE quality
- Tables support wired and wireless laptops
- Carrels with CPUs for tutorial, DVD, CD ROM based study
