This site is rich in resources for teaching small group communication. The materials are not text specific and are quite adaptable. As the publisher states, "These units are designed to help you better understand group communication. Each unit offers instructional notes and then gives you the opportunity to further investigate each concept by engaging in an interactive activity or a quick quiz " (Allen and Bacon, 2000). |

As mentioned above, this site is similarly produced to provide the student with content, quiz opportunities and interactive activities. The materials are well written. Interactive assignments are designed for students using the text and can be submitted to the instructor her or himself. The activities tend to be "visit this link" and then tell me about it in an essay fashion. |

This site is a must for all public speaking instructors! It contains five complete modules that you can use along with your textbook They include notes, interactive activities, quizes, and opportunities to chat with other public speaking student. Topics include: assessing your speaking situation; analyzing your audience; researching your topic; organizing and writing your speech; and delivering your presentation. Links open in a new browser window that allow the student to literally do "two things at once." |

"This site features interactive exercises and quizzes for each of the units...Students have the option of emailing you their answers, emailing themselves the answers, or printing their answers. Allen and Bacon will also help you post your syllabus for their course. I tried this and found it a bit of a challenge. | Text Sites: | The Beebe and Beebe site is simply wonderful!
I highly reccomend that you check it out. It took me days to fully
discover what they have to offer here! The site is located at: http://www.abacon.com/beebe/ .
The only problem is that there are so many links that you can easily loose
your place in the activity. The notion of the "Soeechmaking Wheel"
works well, and the speech writing process is effectively modeled.
