Faculty and Staff

Dr. Barbara Beck came to the Biology Department at RCTC in 1991.  She earned her B.A. from Carleton College and her Ph.D. from the University of Washington. 

Dr. Teresa Brown came to the Chemistry Department at RCTC in 1997.  She earned her B.S. and Ph.D. from South Dakota State University. 

Dr. Terry Brown came to the Biology Department at RCTC in 1991.  She earned her B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. 

Mr. Steven Cole came to the Biology Department at RCTC in 1999.  He earned his A.A. from Austin Community College, B.A. from Westmar College, M.N.S. and M.A. from University of South Dakota and additional graduate study at Iowa State University, the University of Iowa and Montana State University.

Dr. Theresa (Teri) Hill came to the Chemistry Department at RCTC in 1997.  She earned her B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota.

Jason Jadin came to the Chemistry Department in 2004. He earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and his M.S. from the University of Minnesota.

Ms. Jaime Malcore came to the Biology Department at RCTC in 2002. She earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and taught there two years before coming to RCTC.

Dr. Rod Milbrandt came to the Physics Department at RCTC in 2002. He earned his B.A. from St. Olaf College, followed by two M.S. degrees and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He taught previously at Garden City Community College in Kansas, as well as at Loras College in Iowa.

Mr. Randy Renken came to the Biology Department at RCTC as an adjunct instructor in 2001. He became a permanent instructor in 2004. He earned his A.S. degree from RCTC, his B.S. degree from Winona State University and his M.S. from the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences.

Dr. Jennifer Rubin joined the Biology Department at RCTC in 2004. She attended St. Olaf College and graduated with a B.A. in Biology. She went to the University of Illinois for her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Plant Biology, which she completed in 2001. Since then she has done post-doctoral research and adjunct teaching in North Dakota.

Dr. Heather Sklenicka came to the Chemistry Department at RCTC in 2003. She graduated from Drake University with a B.S. in chemistry in 1998 and continued on to earn her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2003.

Mr. Jim Stegge came to the Biology Department at RCTC in 1999.  He earned his B.S. from Briar Cliff College, his M.A. from the University of South Dakota and additional graduate study from Iowa State University and Morningside College.

Sue Sundlee came to the Science Division at RCTC as the lab assistant in 1991.  She earned her B.A. at Southwest Baptist College and graduate study at University of Arkansas and University of Minnesota. 

Dr. John Tacinelli came to the Earth Science Department at RCTC in 1997.  He earned his A.S.  from Dutchess Community College, B.S. from State University of New York at Stony Brook, M.A. from Binghamton University and his Ph.D. in geology from the University of Minnesota in 2000.

Ms. Ramona Taylor came to the RCTC as a student graduating in May of 2004 with a degree in the Administrative Assistant Program.  She became Science Division secretary in March of 2004.
