These are the "technical" courses that IT recommends students complete before applying for transfer. You may apply before completing all the courses. Numbers in () and italics are U of M courses satisfied by a course at Rochester C & TC.

Note:  CHEM 1127 and CHEM 1128 could be taken in the second year.  ENGL 1117 can be taken at any time, as it is not a prerequisite for other courses.  It is most important to take Calculus I (Math 1127) and Classical Physics I (Physics 1127) as early as possible, as many following courses require them as prerequisites.

Note: Some of the courses listed in the University’s Civil Engineering course plan are not available at RCTC (CE 3101, 3102, 3201, 3202, 3501).  You may wish to transfer earlier due to this, or you may finish up the math, physics, chemistry, statics, and dynamics at RCTC while taking some general courses.  It will probably take the student 3 years to finish the Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree AFTER transferring.
