HIST 1614 Europe in the Modern Age

This course traces the history of Europe from the Enlightenment to the present. It will include an analysis of the Age of Reason, the French Revolution, Napoleonic era and social and intellectual movements. In addition it will deal with the unification of Germany and Italy, the Russian Revolution, causes and results of World Wars I and II, the Cold War, and the disintegration of the Soviet Union
