Here is a quick guide for using D2L.

Desire 2 Learn is RCTC's choice of an information management system where course content can be delivered via the web.

Instructors have the ability to post their syllabi, schedules, announcements, and lecture notes in this environment and students can access the material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer with Internet access anywhere in the world.

The system also provides interactivity with discussion boards and chatrooms. Students can submit papers electronically and take quizzes online. This secure environment allows students and instructors to communicate and exchange course materials and grades either totally online or as an enhancement to classes that meet face to face.

NEW STUDENTS!

There is a D2L Tutorial available to familiarize you with the tools you'll need to interact in this environment. We highly encourage you to take the time to go through it. To register (there is no charge) simply click on the SELF REGISTRATION tab on the top yellow navigation bar once you log in. All students receive a certificate after successfully completing all units.

Click here to do a system check!
This will test your computer to see if it has the minimum requirements to run D2L.
