The Multimedia Design and Creation emphasis includes studies to develop skills in digital media authoring, production, presentation and distribution. Students will gather practical experience in the creation and design of web pages, implementation of digital video productions, CD-ROM authoring and production, 3-D modeling and animation, and interactive multimedia authoring. Some of the programs that are used to gain this useful experience include Adobe Premiere, Macromedia Director, Macromedia 3-D Extreme, and Macromedia Sound Edit 16, among many others. Graduates of the program may begin their careers with various technical multimedia-based companies in this fast growing field. Students may also transfer to one of the many multimedia four-year college programs available.
