DISCOVERING DIPLOMACY

One can always read about diplomacy on the internet to grasp a basic understanding, but to broaden our knowledge we decided to rendezvous at the State Capitol in St. Paul, Minnesota to interview local politicians to hear firsthand what diplomacy truly is. For the most part, all of the experts that we interviewed agree that "individual to individual diplomacy" was the key ingredient to true sustainability between countries. This really hit home with our Cambodia project because that is exactly what did! We also had a chance to talk to local Cambodian Leaders. Finally, we were very excited that we were able to interview US Representative Tim Waltz who made a special appointment with us between flights.

We are so pleased with all of the local politicians and leaders who took their time to work with us!
